GUIDELINES
The following list outlines the snowsports and backcountry professionals that
may be eligible for G3's Professional Purchase Program. Please read through the
categories below, and apply under the heading that best suits your situation.
Documents providing evidence of an individual's FULL-TIME status are
required to be considered for qualification. Such documents may include current:

CATEGORIES
- AVALANCHE PROFESSIONAL
Individuals professionally employed in avalanche forecasting, prevention and/or
safety education, and independent snow-science researchers. Qualified applicants
are required to provide proof of full-time employment and avalanche technician
certifications.
- OUTDOOR EDUCATION
Instructors with programs emphasizing wilderness education (with a winter
component) as part of the core curriculum. Qualified applicants must provide
proof that they are paid, full-time staff members directly involved with the
program. Documentation of teaching qualifications/certifications, a letter from
your employer,** as well as a program outline or website must be submitted.
- SKI INSTRUCTOR
Instructors with valid certification who are currently employed full-time.
Qualified applicants must provide a copy of their current PSIA
Nordic/Downhill or CANSI Telemark certification, along with a current
paystub from your place of employment or a letter from your ski school director
on company letterhead.**
- SEARCH AND RESCUE
SAR leaders and/or highly active SAR members who will use our product as part
of their job. Qualified applicants must provide
proof of involvement through a current roster, call-out list, member card, or
other SAR form of identification.
- SKI PATROL
Individuals currently employed as full-time Pro Patrollers who use G3 gear while
working. Qualified applicants must provide a current paystub or letter from your
Patrol Director** as well as a copy of your current NSP Pro division credentials
(if eligible).
- SKIING GUIDE
Individuals employed as a full-time professional ski guide. Qualified applicants
must submit information which clearly demonstrates which company(s) they work
for, their position within the operation, a copy of their certification, and
print or web material confirming that they are employed as a ski guide.
**LETTERS FROM EMPLOYERS: A letter from your employer must be dated in the year
for which you are applying to G3, and needs to state your full name, your job
description and title (patroller, guide, instructor, etc), and the number of
paid hours per week (32+hrs/wk) that you are employed to perform. The letter
must appear on your employer's letterhead, and must include your director's
signature and contact information.
I understand that final eligibility is determined by my local G3 Sales
Rep, and I agree not to contact G3 if my sales rep determines that I am not eligible.
